Image Optimizer:
Worpress 2.9 has an in-built Image editing option that allows you use a lot of Photoshop properties. Now for any type of Image editing, you don’t’ have to entirely depend on Photoshop or several other tools, Wordpress has a lot of those features - not all though. With Image Optimizer in Wordpress, things are really going to be easier for anybody using Wordpress.
Undo Delete Option:
Something that can be regained after loosing is always a great option to have. Wordpress 2.9 too has brought out Wordpress undo delete option that allows you to recover any post, draft, comment…that got erased by mistake. Isn’t that cool?
Thumbnail Support Option:
This may not be very clear to assimilate. A video tutorial of Thumbnail support would be a better mode to get hang of this feature. However, ‘Thumbnail Support’, in a nutshell, allows you to register ‘post thumbnail’ allowing you to attach images to your posts.
Embedd using Oembed Feature:
Since long embedding a video to Wordpress has been a big trouble. But not any more. Now there is Oembed support in Wordpress for quick and easy video upload on YouTube, daily motion, Flickr, Qik, Scribd, Google Video, PolldDaddy Blip.tv, Hulu, Viddler, Revision3, Photobucket, Wordpress.tv and et al.
